George Kyvelos, having successfully served in senior management positions in major record companies such as Polygram, CBS and EMI, established the record label AKTI in collaboration with SONY MUSIC back in 1988.

AKTI's main vision was to present a repertoire of true artistic value. It succeeded in doing so by signing and releasing albums with Haris & Panos Katsimichas, Elli Paspala, Dionysis Tsaknis, Vassilis Lekkas, PitsaPapadopoulou, Leonidas Velis, Melina Tanagri, Christos Nikolopoulos, Takis Soukas, Stamos Semsis, Paschalis Terzis.

In 2021, AKTI makes its return as a record company under the name AKTI MUSIC, keeping the same corevalues ​​and setting artists and their repertoire as its main priority.

AKTI MUSIC's vision is to introduce and establish the new Music Heroes that will raise the standards of Greek music for the recording industry and rejuvenate interest for the fans.
