Haris Nikolaides was born in Athens, grew up in the suburb of Voula and has been playing the guitar for as long as he can remember.
In his teenage years he formed a punk group with three friends and they quickly found themselves playing gigs in all the underground venues in Athens, an unlikely start -one would think- for someone who would then go on to get a degree in music from Southampton Solent University.
While punk and ska punk were huge influences, so were Fivos Delivorias, Spyros Grammenos, Kostis Maraveyas, John Mayer and Mumford and Sons. His close friends know he also loves the blues. They also know that Haris has a magic way to always find the funny side of life, which may explain he manages to keep peace in his flat between his cat and dog.
